Concrete - Calculating Cubic Volume

Sponsored Links

Concrete and mortar are normally delivered on a cubic volume basis. Cubic volume can be calculated as

V = l w h                                   (1)

where

V = cubic volume (yd3, ft3, m3)

l = length (yd, ft, m)

w = width (yd, ft, m)

h = height (yd, ft, m)

  • 1 ft3 = 0.02832 m3= 28.32 dm3 = 0.03704 yd3
  • 1 yd3 = 0.7646 m3 = 764.6 dm3 = 27 ft3
