Air Cooling of Storage Roooms

When outside air is cooled down to storage room conditions - heat must be removed from the air.

The heat removed from the air for outside temperatures in the range 85 - 100 oF is indicated below:

  • 1 Btu (British thermal unit) = 1,055.06 J 
  • 1 ft3 = 0.02832 m3

Example - Outside air 95 oF and storage room temperature 50 oF

From the diagram above aprox. 1.5 Btu/cubic feet must be removed from the air flow.
