Greenhouses - Heat Required to Maintaining Temperature
Heat required to maintain a greenhouse temperature.
A greenhouse heat loss due to
- transmission through glass
- allowance for infiltration
at outside temperatures ranging -10 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit(-23 to -7 deg. C):
Example - Heat Loss from a Greenhouse
With an inside temperature 15oC and an outside temperature -10oC the heat loss from a greenhouse is aprox. 18 kW per 100 m2 floor area.
